It’s stored in tubes which are appropriate to TS 11169 Standard/Sheet 5-6 or in special polyurethane-insulated tanks or containers of liquid.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA
It is not flammable or caustic. It is a fire-fighting agent.Overheated full filled tubes can cause an explosion. The tubes should be cooled by spraying water and safely relocated if they are exposed to fire.
HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
Normal level of inhalation may cause simple symptoms of drowning. Medium level of inhalation may cause headache, nausea, vomiting and fainting. High level of inhalation may cause coma through lack of blood circulation and even death. CO2 is known as the most powerful cerebral vasodilator.
